HERE LIES THE WORK OF
Tommy is a performer , Creator and Hat Collector born in London and bred Straight Outta...Kent. My passion for collecting hats (of which I have over 100 - range from the simple bowler à la Chaplin to a turkey shaped hat à la Christmas). My hat collecting of which has slowed down mostly due to storage acts as a hobby but also as a metaphor for the ongoing gathering of new skills, ideas, roles and characters...
In my role as a creator I have devised and produced the solo show SLOB under the company Theatre85 which toured the UK, Spain and Paris. I am also constantly writing prose of all kinds and submitting it to various outlets for publication/performance. Mostly recently, The Skinned Knee Collective presented my work on their artists blog.
As a performer I am currently touring with Forum Theatre and Education in Spain, now on the road into my fourth season. In the three years I have worked for this company I have played the The Mad Hatter, Gulliver, a ladybug, a sleeping snail and so many more - as well as voicing a number of puppets. Before working in Spain I performed on several occasions as a giant penguin, as well as acting to over 2000 people every night in The London Coliseum - each experience shaping me as a performer as well as a human (of sorts).
Tommy started his professional career when he was fourteen years old understudying for the role of John in David Alden's 'Peter Grimes'. He later acted in the Christopher Alden 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', both for the E.N.O at The Coliseum.
